Denali or Honda Odyssey?

Okay ladies. Hubby and I are pregnant with baby #4. (Possibly 4&5. My last pregnancy was twins, and doc said it increased my likelihood of having twins again? Idk) Anyway-I need a bigger vehicle. I have ALWAYS wanted a Denali. We live in the suburbs outside of DC, so I never have to drive really far for anything, but parking one of those could be a beast in our neighborhood, and shopping centers, etc. Hubby is voting for an Odyssey. 
Parts of me just feels like we’d be safer in a Denali, as high speed accidents are common. But I guess it just all depends. And I guess the van is more practical. 
I’m just wondering if anyone has any insight into these vehicles, with multiple kids, a stroller, etc.

When you say Denali, which vehicle are you actually referring to? Denali is a trim level available on a few different models... Yukon, Acadia, Sierra, Canyon, Terrain. 
My guess would be you are referring to the Yukon, but just wanted to make sure. That would be my choice personally... when I lived just outside of DC I drove a Tahoe and it was never an issue (but I guess it depends on your personal comfort level driving and parking a larger vehicle).

Don’t get the Denali- if you’re going to go that route go with Chevrolet over GMC. Everyone I know who owned a GMC has had horrible issues and tons of recalls. I say odyssey or the Chevrolet equivalent of the GMC.

I just got an Odyssey a few months ago and absolutely LOVE it! So much room! Plus it’s a Honda so it will last forever!

We actually traded my Yukon in and got a Chevy traverse. It has more interior room than my Yukon did-and at a better price point.

I used to drive a Yukon Denali and miss it terribly. I never had any issues with it other than the tire sensor making noise from time to time because the tires on it weren’t factory. I’ve driven the Honda and it just wasn’t my taste or style. I like full size SUV’s. I drive a pathfinder currently and cannot wait to trade it in for something bigger.

Honda!!! We have 3 of them. Never ever had issues with them. They are reliable.
