Am I overthinking this photo?

So this came up on my Instagram explore page and was curious to know what y’all thought about it too.

Obviously I know it’s supposed to be a “joke” but why is it only the women? It would almost be funnier to me if it was just the kids but it’s just the women.. and their eyes look so sad! Plus the little boy with his thumbs up.. like oh.. you’re raising him to be like that too. 😑 Again, I know it’s supposed to be a “funny” photo but this really rubbed me the wrong way for some reason. What about you?
