Dilating with no contractions!! Help

I've had a preterm delivery before at 22 weeks with no bleeding, no contractions, no symptoms you could possibly think of. Luckily I was going to an ultrasound appointment and the tech saw how dilated I was and sent me to the hospital where they broke my water.

Fast forward to today and I made it passed 37 weeks, dilating without contractions again so the doctors want to go ahead and induce me. I'm 3.5cm currently and I do feel like I notice whenever my cervix dilates since I've been right about it twice during this pregnancy. I don't care to be induced honestly and want to go home, relax, and see how it goes.

Has anyone else experienced dilating without contractions? Did you agree to be induced? What can I expect?
