My dr calls me telling me my results came back slightly abnormal. She was asking me about history of cervical cancer, and told me she'll include a test for hpv into her next culture in three months. I asked her if whatever is going on could be contagious and she said no. I don't understand why wait that long.. I'm really scared because the woman in my family have had many reproductive/ sexual health problems. I was just shocked I didn't know the right questions to ask. What could it mean to be abnormal? I'm only 21 and had a baby 3 months ago.
