Flu shot?

Babe is 9 months and will have her appt next week. Trying to decide

Totally up to you. It is suggested but I have never given my kids the flu shot even my 10 month old . He had flu when he was a month old and even our drs said most kids who do die from it do so because of complications from it such as dehydration and breathing complications which can be avoided by monitoring you baby closely . 
Again some won’t agree with this but if it was me I wouldn’t but you need to ask if it is or isn’t the right decision for your child. (And before any one ask yes I vaccinate my children😂)

We got our son vaccinated because I’d rather him not end up sick, hospitalized or worse . He didn’t even flinch when he got it and didn’t have any type of reaction to it .

It’s great that the flu shot pretects against/lessens the intensity if the flu is contracted but its also a great idea because it protects those around baby who have weaker immune systems and cannot get the shot for themselves. Just a thought.

Flu is super serious for babies. Like hospitalization kind of serious. Flu vaccine, unless you have an extremely rare reaction = harmless
