No period

So I have a 5 month old and we are breastfeeding , I’m on the mini pill and I haven’t had my period at all . Is this normal ? I test for pregnancy every 6 weeks or so just to be sure . I really just want to be xo mostly healed before I do get pregnant again so that the chances of any problems or risks are lowered .
