Is it safe to eat spinach while pregnant?

Before you judge this is a serious question I got told that it isn’t safe and I honestly just want to do what’s best for my child. 
Online it says this.

It says right there it’s one of the best foods to eat while pregnant... the only reason I’d skip it is if there’s a recall on it for E. Coli

I love leafy greens and ate a bunch of spinach while I was pregnant, my whole food prenatal also has spinach as one of the ingredients. Like the previous comment said unless there is an outbreak of E. Coli or something like that in your area it should be perfectly fine :)

Honestly just wash it good, for me personally i always cook it or sauté well not always but the majority of the time, and the heat kills any bacteria. I do keep it raw for sandwiches and atuff but i rinae with hot water and dry the a paper towel

I literally eat it every single morning. I cook it into my eggs for breakfast. Super delicious and really good for you! Lots of iron and folate, which is very important during pregnancy. The only risk, as with literally ALL produce, is e-coli or listeria or other forms of bacteria in general. The best way to avoid most is to rinse your veggies and fruits well, or even cook certain kinds if you want. You can have salads and stuff, just rinse your greens well. You can even buy a produce cleaning agent. But it’s literally just water and distilled vinegar I think. There are plenty of Pinterest and google posts on how to wash your produce. It’s not totally necessary though.

I can see why they say it isn't safe, just like any leafy green or veggies it has to be rinsed very well but yes it is I ate it throughout pregnancy
