i’m 18 and i graduate this year and i met a sweet guy about 6 months ago. since then we have been inseparable. we have talked about transferring to a community college and getting us a apartment. i have committed to being with this man. lately his mom has been pretty hard on us being together. she thinks that i am taking him away from her. so we slowed down. but i mean calling him at dinner and calling him names to make him feel bad. i have been trying to make everything work. he and me decided that right now isn’t the best time to continue this relationship. i called my mom and she thinks i should “give space” by not texting him back or calling back or anything. if any ladies have been through the mom not liking you i would just like advice on how to handle my feelings while also being supportive.
