Who do you let kiss your baby’s head (besides you)?

With thanksgiving tomorrow, we’re hosting it at our house. I’ve seen my FIL kiss my baby’s head before and I’m not happy about it but don’t know if I’m being extra and didn’t say anything at the time.

I don’t LET anyone, but my in laws do it anyways and it infuriates me.

I was just in urgent care yesterday (my primary had no available openings) for mastitis and on the way out the doctor asked me if I was excited for the holidays and I said of course, I have a new baby to show off. She agreed but was QUICK to say "yes, but dont let them kiss him. We dont want him catching anything during RSV season!" I would really discourage it... I know it can be awkward to bring up... they need to sell baby onsies that say "dont kiss" lol

I chose in-laws, but it's really just my parents becuase my hubby's dad lives far away and has only seen the baby once (and his mom is passed).

I'm okay with any family kissing from forehead up, immediate family are also allowed to kiss cheeks. Only mom and dad can get right in and kiss on the mouth. Dad never has, but he knows I'm ok with it.

Only my parents and siblings are allowed to kiss my little one anywhere. We live in the same house as my parents and my siblings are over quite frequently so I'm not worried about their germs. They know to stay away when they're sick too so that helps. We just started letting my mil kiss his back on his clothes but all my husbands family lives 7 hours away so they aren't kissing him anywhere.

My 6 year old nephew is obsessed with my daughter and just wants to love her a few weeks ago I saw him kiss her and say he loves her I ran over and said he’s not to kiss her due to germs and he said he kisses her all the time when we aren’t looking (which is hardly ever )  😩😩😩😩 he’s been told absolutely not from now on and we always have extra eyes incase he tries to steal a kiss. This was a few weeks ago now and thankfully she’s not been sick due to it 😩

My mother and sister kiss her cheek. I can’t be mad she’s so chubby and cute it’s just a reaction. I never seen his family kiss her but I let them know at hospital that it was not allowed. My family just does what they want 🤷🏽‍♀️
