What has everyone else done about letting your boss know your pregnant.

I work in an early childhood setting so i work with children from 2-5years. It can be quite demanding some days due to behaviour, children with additional needs and of course the age of the children. I am only very early into my pregnancy but I have been fearing about my safety regarding picking up and dealing with the challenging moments.

Should I say to my boss this early or should I wait till I’m 3months? But I don’t what to been seen as the person that isn’t doing anything anymore.
