How do I insert a tampon??

I’m 15 and I know very little on how to and have never even tried. Please helpppppp

Well first find where your vagina is with clean fingers. Once you know where it is, you can put the tampon in there. The yellow arrow shows what goes in your vagina. Hold the grip where the red arrow is with your thumb and middle finger. When you put the tampon in, ideally it should go in until your fingers hit your body. So the hole insertion tube should be in. Once it’s in all the way, use your index finger to push all the way down on the plunger which I have circled in red. Once you pushed it down all the way, you can remove the plastic applicator by just pulling it out. If it isn’t going on when you try, move the tampon so it’s at a slightly different angle. If you’re really having trouble, you can try using a little coconut oil for a lubricant. Make sure the string is out as well. Then just pull the tampon out by the string when you are ready to remove it. FYI, removing a dry tampon will hurt lol

the easiest way is to start off with a small size & a plastic applicator. nor great for the environment but makes the process a whole lot easier. it may hurt at first but after a few times it shouldn't. also, the angle matters so u don't wanna just try to shove it up there. try putting one foot up on the toilet seat bc it can make it a bit easier. try to be relaxed bc the tenser you are, the harder it is. make sure u wait until the tampon has absorbed at least some blood bc otherwise it will hurt like a bitch to take out, the easiest way is to have a pantyliner on & then when u feel blood start to leak, then take it out (just make sure u don't wear it for anymore than 8 hours). hope this helps xx

Honestly id advise against tampons. Theyre not the best for your body unless you use organic ones. Even then, they can be toxic. Remember to change them frequently and use an absorbency that matches your flow. If you have a light flow, use a light tampon. Plastic applicators are the best. 
Sit on the toilet with your legs open and hold the botton part of the applicator between your thumb and middle finger. Slide the tampon into your vagina and push the applicator stick with your index finger. If you feel the tampon, its not in right. You shouldnt be able to feel it. 
I still suggest pads or a menstrual cup.
