This happens to me during sex. I’m pretty sure it’s normal... does your face/chest turn red outside of arousal? Like getting embarrassed, angry, etc. Mine does, ever since I was a little girl. While the stress response “fight or flight” applies to the feeling of embarrassment, anger I’m not sure if it’s the same with arousal. I also deal with high blood pressure. 
Anyways I think that’s just the way our bodies are. Especially since we are both fair-skinned.
