Rash?!

Question

Clark is 3.5 weeks old.
This rash developed 3-4 days ago.
Is this a regular newborn rash or eczema? Or something else?
I coat him down in hydrolatum every night before bed. 
He has it on his face, chest, back of his neck, and back of his head. Red, bumpy, and pimply. 
He is exclusively breastfed.

It looks like heat rash to me. ￼

It could be baby acne,  heat rash, or from spit up from BM or formula going down his neck and around the back. 
It doesnt look like anything major. Just keep it clean and dry.

I’m pretty sure this is just baby acne hun! Just wipe it down with water, don’t put anything on it and eventually it’ll go away. It’s just from all the hormones. I read you could put breast milk on it but I’m not too sure since I never tried. I just let it be. He is adorable by the way :)))

It looks like baby acne. My son had it briefly when he was very little. If he is eating normal, sleeping normal, going pee/poop normal, doesn’t have a fever, then I would say he is probably okay. Just keep an eye on it and maybe take a break from any lotions of products for a couple days to see if it helps at all

My baby has this and hers is from spitting up. I just keep it clean, dry and use aquaphor as a barrier. It clears it up quickly

Babies can be quite spotty when they’re first born as they’re still getting rid of all the stuff out of their system that they had when they were in our tummies- it comes out through their pores and through their urine and bowel movements.
Try not to panic! If seeing a doctor would put your mind at rest then don’t feel like you’d be wasting their time xx
