I didn’t find it helpful I’m afraid.

I used that (rented one from boots) and hypnobirthing. I didn’t ask for any pain relief until I was transitioning

For my last labour I didn’t plan on getting one but saw one on sale in Boots (think about £20) and found it really helpful in the early stages of labour. I think it enabled me to stay at home for longer. Was about 5 - 6 cm when I got to hospital and needed the gas and air then. Definitely plan on using it again for this labour.

I used one, it was sort of nice to have when the contractions weren't that bad but my hypnobirthing worked better for me to be honest
