Terrible after birth pains?!

OWWW my after birth pains for my uterus getting back to usual size are HORRIBLE. I have been told that they're worse for second (or later) babies but oh my goddd it's awful! It was nothing like this with my first. I feel like I'm in labor again several times an hour!! Baby was born Monday night and the pains are still going 😭 feels like they'll never stop 😭😭 
Any words of encouragement from the other side?

I just had my 6th baby and I'm at the point where my afterbirth pains are worse than my actual labour contractions! For me I make sure I take advil and tylenol every chance I can, don't let too much time pass in between doses. Make sure your bladder is always empty, also I use a heating pad and/or a hot water bottle on my lower abdomen and lower back. Breastfeeding makes the pain worse but just remind yourself that each pain is helping your uterus shrink back to regular size faster. Hope these pains pass for you soon!!!

Had my second on Saturday and was in tears from them. Breastfeeding and pumping make it worse BUT 5 days post baby and they are almost completely gone i was told breastfeeding makes them worse but they go away quicker. Heating pad and lots of water helped and taking the Motrin regularly

I have this stuff I bought called Afterbirth. It’s a tincture that helps with the cramps. I think it helped the first week or so.!

Mine went away completely after about 4 or 5 days so hopefully yours will too! But they are super intense - I felt like I was having bad contractions again, especially while feeding.

It means your uterus is getting smaller and you’ll soon have your tummy back to some type of normality! 
If you’re breastfeeding they will be much more intense xx

I just had my second babe and I’m in the same boat.  It’s finally starting to subside 6 days PP.  Mine tends to be worse when I’m nursing her.  You got this momma!  Take some I ibuprofen before feeding if you are breastfeeding.

Same exactly over here! 2nd baby too, nothing like this with my first. I’ve been taking ibuprofen every couple of hours
