So I met this guy on a dating app after being single for years. He’s not normally what I go for (skinny, nerd, non athletic) and it turned out to be the best date I’ve ever been on. When we first exchanged numbers I asked why he was on tinder and he said “not for a hookup but I work a lot and don’t have a lot of time for dating right now so I want someone to do winter stuff with and just see where it goes” which was totally fine with me because I’ve had bad relationships in the past and am not looking to rush into anything. Fast forward we’ve been hanging out a little over a month and he’s the nicest guy I’ve met. We literally have so much in common he jokes that I’m the female version of him and him me. We ended up sleeping together on the fifth date and I told him “as much fun as that was, I don’t know that we should do it again because I know myself and I’ll start to catch feelings and I know you’re not looking for a relationship right now.” And he responded saying he loved hanging out with me regardless of sex or not. Saying just cuz he doesn’t want a relationship doesn’t mean he doesn’t genuinely enjoy my company and spending time with me.

So I guess my question is. Is he ever gonna want a relationship? I’m all good with taking it super slow but I don’t want to invest my time and feelings into someone that’s never gonna want a relationship. I’m conflicted and don’t know what to do.
