Yes it feels like we are monkeys and the baby is gripping on for dear life 😭 it’s totally normal especially when you’re breastfeeding

It’s not that I don’t want to be around my son or have him on me, I’m obsessed with him, but yes I think parents need a moment to feel human again. If I had it my way I would be a stay at home mom so I could always be around him, but do I cherish my ten minute showers because I get a moment? Yes.

Totally normal. My son is 2 and all he wants is "mama cuddles" I love him but I need some space 😂

Every parents needs a moment to themselves. I hate being away from my daughter but even 10 minutes is a lifesaver. It’s a totally normal feeling!

Absolutely normal!! I'm lucky enough that my husband gets it now and gives me the time and space i need to myself when he's home. After our oldest is in bed i have however long i need to just be. Sometimes that's a long bath, sometimes i go out, sometimes i play video games or watch tv, just whatever makes me feel like i'm my own person again. 
When he didn't get it i was seriously stressed all the time and the kids suffered for it because i couldn't be the best version of myself for them. I had completely lost myself in what i had to do and be, and it took a huge toll on my mental health. Everyone needs time to be themselves, and a lot of the time stay at home parents don't get that time.

I call it being “touched out”. I love those little guys to death but at the end of the day I’m glad they go to bed at 7 😂 My husband is great in spelling me off when he gets home so I can have a break. I’m a better mother when I have some time apart from them

Yup. Being "touched out" is a very real thing that a lot of women go through. There are times I just need some personal space & I don't want anyone to touch me. Lol.

It doesn’t happen to me because my daughter takes every nap in her crib & loves playing independently but i’d say it’s normal
