Contact lenses or glasses???

Is it better to go through labor with contacts in or glasses on?? What do you ladies think??

I wear contacts 90% of the time but I plan on wearing my glasses. Depends though, if it's during the day and I already have my contacts in then I'll probably just go with that.  But if it's late or early morning then glasses.

I prefer my contacts however the hospital may ask you to take them out, it depends on the facility which can be a bummer.

I am a huge contact lenses person but during labour with my son my eyes got SO DRY it was painful and had to take them out and put my glasses on.

I wore glasses during my first but I think I’ll be doing contacts this time around as I want to use a labor tub and shower and I am BLIND without my glasses so being disoriented in a situation like that would make me uncomfortable. I’ll be bringing glasses for back up and after birth.

I had multiple days of labor. Sooo glad I was wearing glasses and did not have to bother changing out my contacts.

I wear my contacts most days almost the whole time I’m awake so I plan to do it with contacts but also to throw my glasses un my hospital bag. That way I have the option to take my contacts out.
