Today I’m cycle day 36 and decided to take an ovulation test because my cervix position was very high. On cycle day 15, 16, and 17 my digital ovulation test gave me a blinking smiley face (high LH) but I didn’t keep testing because I assumed that I was about to ovulate and just wasn’t getting the peak notification. After multiple negative pregnancy tests, I just assumed I was out this cycle.

Is it possible to ovulate twice in a cycle? Am I actually ovulating?? Why would I have gotten a high LH level on cycle day 15,16,17 and then peak on day 36?? I’m so confused.

PS. I’ve taken a pregnancy test and it’s negative.
