Hello. We we're set Thanksgiving at the in laws today. I brought a turkey, rice and smashed potatoes. My MIL cooked the rest (lots of food).

Everything was fine until MIL asked me "is outer ok if we smoke in the living room?" I was in the kitchen with my 4 month old. I said no. His daughter said she could smoke outside andshe said " I will not smoke outside in my own house"

So I told get that it was ok, and that I would leave soon.

Now, I kinda feel kicked out because I don't want to expose my son to second hand smoke.

Am I exaggerating?
