What is your best description of what a contraction feels like?

I’m currently 35 weeks and I felt the most uncomfortable tightness where I couldn’t move for a good 5 mins it hurt so bad but I’m a first timer and have no idea if it was the real thing

The worst diarrhea cramp you've ever had in your life. It involves your whole lower abdomen, the pressure may push down on your bladder and constantly make you feel like you have to pee as well.

At the beginning of my labor it felt like period cramps coming and going. Real low. Had them about 7 hours, they kept getting stronger. But I was only in labor about 7 hours before I had to have an emergency csection. I’m sure they get worse or can feel a little different as labor progresses.

I had different ones. I had the feeling of: knife up my cervix, knife in my back, intense period cramps and a bowling ball falling out of my arsehole 😂😂
