9th percentile Induction?

Question

My baby is in the 9th percentile and I'm 31 weeks and I just want your experiences. Were you induced because of your babies size? I'm just trying to prepare myself for a possible induction within the next few weeks.

At 39 weeks mine was in the 8th percentile. The placenta and cord are normal, I’m very healthy, and the baby’s chromosomes are all normal. She measured at 6lbs 3oz which seems ok to me, but I’m getting a lot of pressure to induce. I’m 40+1 today and I’m hoping to put the doctors off until 40+5. I’m having NSTs twice a week in the meantime. He movements are all normal so I’m not particularly worried. I’m 5’1” and weighed 6lbs at birth so she’s growing just how I would expect. I wish they’d treat me like an individual than like a single number.

Has baby been dropping percentiles or has always been small? Is blood flow to the placenta ok?

my babies belly was in the 5th percentile and i was induced at exactly 38 weeks

I was induced with my first because she was 4th centile.
I had weekly growth scans from around 32 weeks and was induced at 38 weeks, had her at 38+2 and all was fine she was 5lb 9oz so she was small but everything was absolutely fine with her.

At 32 weeks my boy was overall in the 40 something centile, but his legs were at 3rd centile and they were concerned.. I had another scan yesterday at 36 weeks and his body is the same , everything’s growing as it should be for his age, but his legs were now at 9 and his arms at 3. So there’s progress there but ultrasounds are a give or take 30% accuracy so my midwife told me and give false readings often. As long as he’s growing and there’s good blood flow , he/she should be fine and will continue to grow
