I'm a no, but it wouldn't suit me it's not something I would enjoy but I wouldn't be resentful either some times my hubby works weeks with no day off and I just feel sorry for him having to work so much and miss out so much. Its hard work being home and not having the help but it's not his fault x

My husband works 5 nights a week and so sleeps during the day so I’m on my own most of the time..I’m wouldn’t say I’m resentful because I know he would rather have a more normal schedule too but I do get frustrated and sad being alone with baby so much!

Yes that wouldn’t work for our relationship for some it might but its definitely not for everyone. Especially if you have kids you’re working 24/7 while he might work 8-12 hours a day and then relax when off which you don’t get.

Why did you both agree to this then? Is there other option for him? If there isn’t, and you both agreed that this is the only way to provide...you will have to get over it before it eats your marriage.

Mine is gone for 10 days to 2 weeks at a time for work home for about 3 days. This time he’s home for a week because of thanksgiving and our sons birthday is next week so he’s staying for that...  but he will be gone 3 weeks instead of just 2

My husband is typically at home three days a week. I used to feel resentful but I don’t anymore. He works on the stuff he has to do and I work on the stuff i need to do. We are a team and we pick up where we leave off each time. It’s no biggie anymore :)

My SO is gone for work up to 2 weeks at a time.  I used to get really resentful.  Then, one night, he told me how happy he was to be home because he gets so stressed and anxious missing us when he’s gone that he can’t even sleep.  Then I realized, even if I have tons to do alone while he’s gone, I have control over it.  He’s away, alone, and can’t do anything to stay busy while worrying, has no control over anything happening at home and can’t enjoy anything as it happens (like LO’s first smiles, rolling, etc).  I appreciate the sacrifices he is making for us.

Mine is gone overseas a ton. Two months gone then two months home. It’s tough and I get resentful often when he’s gone but I’ve been trying to think of the positive things. I’m in love with him and he’s worth every sacrifice.

Mine is home 2 days a week usually. Sometimes only 1. I do get frustrated sometimes,  because this wasn't his schedule before my daughter was born so I had to get use to it very fast and alone.  But I have to remember I like lights in my House, food for my baby and having a car. (I'm a SAHM)
