Baby Position at 38 weeks

Rebecca • We have 2 angel babies and 3 babies this side of heaven and pregnant with our 4th!

So this is my 2nd baby and my first one came naturally at 38 weeks. Every time I’ve gone in to get checked baby girl has been head down. I went in at 37 weeks and had to see a different dr. He asked if she been head down at all and said my cervix was high and closed. I said yes and then he had to really feel around and said yes she is head down but floating around in there. Since then I’ve noticed during the day she will be more in a head down position with her butt up by my ribs and her feet to my right side but at night she rolls depending on what side I wake up on. I can feel something hard against my hip bone (head I’m thinking) and then follow the body up. I am 38 weeks. I was really hoping she would go as early as her sister but with all this moving I’m not so sure. Anyone else have a baby not engage until the last minute or move around like that?
