Tongue Piercing bump?

Hey! I got my tongue pierced last Wednesday (20th Nov) I have this bump on the bottom of the piercing and not the top the piercer pierced from top to bottom which I thought was weird because most people I know said they go bottom to top but anyway just asking for other experiences and best mouth washes to use for a bump?

Ive had my tongue pierced for 6 years. Thats 100% normal, just scar tissue. Should become less noticeable over time (based on my experience alone, im not a piercer). Definitely get MULTIPLE professional opinions if you are still concerned!

ask a professional licensed piercer that you trust if u dont fully trust whoever pierced u

I have a weird bump too! My piercer told me it was harmless. If it’s not sore, bleeding, swollen (etc.) it might not be an issue. I’ve had mine pierced for 2+ years and my little bump is still there
