When do you start going out with baby?

We're waiting until she's had her shots at 2months. We have gone to 4 doctor appointments and on 2 short walks in our neighborhood.

We went out the day after 🤷‍♀️ we don’t shelter our children. Not shaming those who do, we all do what we feel is best for our family, but we don’t wait to take our kids out after birth. I might feel differently if we didn’t breastfeed. 🤷‍♀️

Baby came with us yesterday to a thing where Santa landed in a (small, not very loud) helicopter since we were taking my two year old to see it. He was 5 days old yesterday (it was actually his due date). We've taken him in the car a few times too but generally either me or my husband will run in to get whatever it is we're out to get and someone else stays with baby in the car. 
If it weren't cold and flu season, we'd have been out with him all over the place probably day one. The day after he was born we went out to pick up something at target and did drive up so we didn't have to leave the car, but he did come out with us. He's been out to the playground with us and my daughter but of course stays in his car seat/stroller.

My boy is 6 weeks and we don’t shelter him and he’s been out and about with us since he was a week old.

I was discharged 4 days post up from my c section and had to go straight from the hossy to target to collect a breast pump.. everyone was amazed i was up and walking around with a newborn in my arms at 4 days old.

We’ve been to dr appointments. 
My parents house. 
And we went to my older sons end of season football party (baby didn’t get out the car seat and was covered the entire time) 
Any other places we’ve gone, SO would just run in and out and baby stayed in the car with me. 
If it wasn’t flu and RSV season we’d be out and about but my anxiety is too bad for that right now.

Took her out to the doctors 3 days after she was born. My family is always saying not to take her out fast but I don’t want to keep her inside all the time. So I took her out🤷🏻‍♀️

We’ve had such decent weather we’ve been out often. She’s a month old today and we’ve been out and about getting that vitamin D. Good for her and me! She’s also breastfeed so she’s getting those immunities as well.

My son is 9 days old & we’ve only taken him out to his 2 weight checks, & out on thanksgiving. I wish we could take him out more but it’s been cold here in west Texas plus w flu season I wouldn’t want to risk getting him sick. Probably wait until he’s about 3-4 weeks to go out with him more often.
