Starting IUI for the first time this cycle 😬

So my husband and I have basically had every single thing tested, both of us a full fertility workup, semen analysis, I have had both an HSG and a SHG. We still aren’t pregnant a year after my ectopic. Apparently nothing is wrong with us but it’s just not working out naturally. So this month we decided to try IUI with an ovarian stimulation drug called Femara and a trigger shot of Ovidrel before ovulation. Any tips before our first IUI? Should I take the day off of work? Should I do anything special before the IUI, or the day of? Did you still exercise that week? Any weird side effects from the drugs? How soon after your trigger shot did you have your IUI performed? Thanks in advance! Crossing my fingers that IUI will work for us. 🤞🏼🙏🏼
