Toys for babies? Ideas?

I may just be too picky but I want to get my twins each, one, small toy for Christmas. They will be about 5months then. So I’m thinking toys from ages 6-12months but I don’t want teething toys. And I don’t necessarily want bright-flashing, noisy toys. I know they won’t remember this Christmas or the next couple but still want to do something small for them. 
What does everyone else do?

Look on amazon for age specific toys. U can literally type in “toys for 6-12month girl” or whatever ur looking for. That’s what I did for my 1 year old😁 there are tons of options and I go off the reviews when deciding because people are very honest on there lol
