What’s the cheapest way to mail clothes?

I have a ton of clothes I’m trying to send to another state (to my niece) what’s the cheapest way to send it?

Your usps! I sent a whole box full of clothes that cost me $100 to send all the way across state that was 3x bigger than FedEx or ups and they charged $50 for a little box. After we did all the calculations it’s actually cheaper to send through usps if your not in a hurry!

So I ended up going with fedex, the box was 22x18x18 and weighed 57 pounds. 
I paid $65, it’s going from Seattle WA to North Dakota 
Not bad at all!

fedex or ups are best for heavy packages that aren't in a flat rate box.
