If you started leaking early in pregnancy, did you have a strong supply when your milk came in?

I know there is not technically a correlation with leaking during pregnancy and supply once milk comes in, but I’m curious on your experience. I started leaking at 28 weeks and my friends think I’m going to over produce and that baby will come early.

I started leaking at 15 weeks and continued through out the remainder of my pregnancy. Took me 5-6 days for my milk to come in, but once it did it stayed pretty steady. I did have an over supply, but I never got a clogged duct or mastitis. I also pumped exclusively (due to latch issues) if that made any difference 🤷🏼‍♀️

There is no correlation between leaking and milk supply. Some women leak, some don’t but that doesn’t determine their milk supply or when baby makes their arrival.

I leaked from about 25 weeks, baby was induced 5 days before DD otherwise I think I would have gone over and I have what I think might be an oversupply. (I just collect off the other breast with a haaka when I feed in case I want my OH to give a bottle, I get about 8oz a day on top of feeding and either freeze 4oz a day or sometimes all 8) x

When I was 38 weeks I stuck my pump on twice a day for 5 mins. Omg I had so much milk when she came. Idk if it was all the stimulation but she came just 2 days shy of 40 weeks so it didn’t stimulate labor for me.

I leaked at 12 weeks with my first pregnancy and my milk came in 2 days after each birth I had an oversupply of milk every single time.

Nope. I leaked with both babies very early (15&18 weeks) and could not breastfeed either one of them..
