I’m 25 weeks pregnancy and I have been experiencing some braxton hicks contractions today.. they are just the tightening feeling but experiencing no bad pain.

However, i went to the toilet and I felt my vagina feel a bit more ‘open’ than usual?! I honestly don’t know how to explain... and then a large bit of discharge streamed out onto my tissue and I am unsure as to what this means....

It’s a yellow colour and jelly-boogey like consistency, (sorry!) I did google and yellow indicates infection but It didn’t have an odour and i have no itching so i’m worried it’s my mucus plug as I’m starting to now get mild cramping.

Is this normal?

I really worry about contacting by midwife/hospital as I don’t want to ring for something silly but this is m first pregnancy
