Can someone pls teach me how to shave my down there correctly😥 (pic so yall can see how bad it is)

My mom wont talk to me about it because she said I dont need to shave down there but i want to because i feel like its nasty on my period and I would just feel more clean I guess... but every time I shave it itches so bad and I can never get it smooth because it's like the little tiny hairs wont let me shave them off.. how do I get it completely smooth and how do I stop getting these bumps??🥺😔
