My husband has always had cold sores, but I’ve never gotten them on my mouth or genitals. This week, it started burning when I peed, and it didn’t get better with treatment for a UTI or yeast infection. I went in to my OBGYN and she said it looked like herpes, and that I could have gotten it from my husband’s cold sores. I feel MORTIFIED and upset, even though I didn’t get it in a “bad” way. I’d love to hear about people who are managing theirs positively and easily.
