Has anyone tried Baking Soda Pregnancy Test?

What do you all think? The human chorionic gonadotropin or hCG is present in the urine during early pregnancy. Baking soda can be used to check its presence in the urine. The reaction of baking soda to the urine tells you whether or not hCG is present in it. If it is present, you are pregnant.

I always find it funny when people do these at home test it’s like you do realize you are just playing in pee right? Besides the bleach one that’s dangerous... anywho they don’t work 🤷🏼‍♀️

Baking soda and pee doesn’t tell you if you’re pregnant. A pregnancy test does. There’s no way this picks up Hcg🙄 it’s just baking soda. 
If this was accurate, my cousin would’ve been pregnant (4 years ago) and she didn’t  even have periods yet when we did it 🤷🏻‍♀️

Excuse me whilst I go measure out a cup full of pregnancy tests and bake a cake, and then go and and check to see if I’m pregnant with some baking soda :) brb

You can literally buy a test for 88c. Same cost as the baking soda you just peed in for no reason. It's a 50/50 shot of being accurate, the is NO SCIENCE to back this.
