Need opinions!!

I’m super regular and always have been. My husband and I don’t use protection but he pulls out. We aren’t trying or preventing. So we had sex around ovulation a couple times and we always do. But this month has been super weird, I got my period nov 4th, it was normal I bled normal nothing was different. Then a week and a half later I spotted brown for 2 days then it stopped. I took a test to be sure and it was negative.

THEN a week after that I started to spot again!! I was starting to freak out because like I said i am really regular and always have been. I spotted for a few days, then started to bleed a little heavier. Not as heavy as my periods but heavier than spotting also no clots, so I used a tampon for about 2 days and it never really filled a tampon but I don’t like the feeling of blood so I used one and then a panty liner. Then after I stopped “heavy” bleeding I wore a liner for a few days after because I was still spotting and the color would very from dark red to brown and when I was “bleeding” the blood was never bright red.

The last day I spotted I took a family dollar test and it was negative. So I am just so confused and my period was suppose to start yesterday and I feel no sign of it coming so if anyone has ever experienced this please let me know!! My doctor scheduled an ultrasound but I have no idea what is going on with my body and now I have no clue when to expect a period. *sorry for the rant*
