We tried to do foster care to adopt but my husband’s background came back with where he’d been accused of touching his son from his first marriage. I was aware of the accusation, he never tried to hide it or anything. His ex-wife had cheated on him from day one of the marriage and when they decided to divorce she got with the man she’d been cheating with and she wanted him to be the father so she did everything she could to get his rights taken away/have him sign his rights away. The accusations were found to be baseless and just that an accusation he never went to jail or court and was told that this would not affect him or be on his record. I guess what I’m trying to say is what would y’all do? I’ve been trying to conceive for at least 5 years with nothing and we decided we’d adopt but can’t afford to do it regularly so we decided to foster to adopt but now we can’t. I don’t know what to do or think.
