I’m 16 weeks pp and just learned that I had a bad reaction to the epidural. I complained about having a metallic taste in my mouth and my face was itchy. My nurse acted like she had never heard of that complaint and brushed it off. I let it go and obviously I’m alive.

However, I just learned that a metallic taste is a symptom of having some of the anesthetic accidentally injected into your bloodstream (or something like that) and should be immediately reported to the anesthesiologists!

So my question ladies. Did you have this symptom? Did your dr do anything? Any lasting issues? I am freaking out. I’m sure I’m fine but still freaking out.. 😓
