I'm on Nuvaring, have been for over a year this go around. I take it out Wednesday mornings every 3 weeks for my week off and typically start my period by Saturday afternoon at the latest. I have ridiculously heavy and painful periods, which is why I'm here.

This month, I took my ring out on Wednesday morning, but i didn't "start" until late Sunday night. The thing is, it was a spot of brown when i wiped, threw a pad on and went to bed. Woke up Monday, nothing changes, just a bit of brown when i wiped. I was suuuper bloated and cramping really bad from Sunday to currently (I put my nuvaring back in this morning (Wednesday)).

I took a pregnancy test Tuesday morning, it was negative...

Any ideas what is happening? I have never experienced this ever and i have been on and off hormonal birth control since i was 13. My periods since I've been on Nuvaring have been on time and the "normal" I've come to know.
