Collins as a boys first name?

Collins was my husbands grandmothers maiden name they were close and it has meaning in their family. The name is growing on me though I have only heard it used for a girl. Also we would do a J middle name and call him CJ probably. What do you all think??

I think Collin without the s at the end sounds better as a first name. I personally don’t like CJ as a nickname but that’s my own personal opinion. I love the name Collin though ♥️

I also prefer Collin. Collins James or Collins John just dont flow because you have the consonant sounds "n-z-j" all together and it just sounds harsh to say, whereas Collin James sounds more like there's a space between the two names. And I feel like it's definitely still a tribute to the name Collins- super cute!
