Full moon & labor?

Question

Anyone ever heard of a full moon bringing on labor (if your close to your due date) 
I’m due Jan 6th the next full moon is December 12th 👀👀 
Has anyone heard stories like that?

I haven’t heard stories personally. But nurses at both hospitals I’ve visited said that when there is a full moon they are more busy than usual. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I have worked in nursing homes for 10 years. I swear there was always something crazy going on during a full moon. I have heard L&D nurses say they are always busy during a full moon

No... I think the baby will come when hes good and ready, relacted by the regardless of the moon. Some people are impacted by the moon but labor, I think is one, that only the baby controls (induction aside)

My daughter was born on a full moon at 39 weeks! There is a full moon in January 10th which is the day we plan on having our induction! 
I will say my daughter I went 1-3 and that day I went 3-10 in less than 6 hours. It was pretty narly

My mother in law was a mid wife in New Zealand many years ago, and said they would get over run with ladies in labor on a full moon.  And really hot days it was quiet 😞. She had her thoughts lol

During my birthing class someone brought it up to the nurse. She said it does seem busier, but its usually the day before and the day after the full moon. I don't think there is a scientific basis for it, but a lot of healthcare providers swear a full moon makes a difference

I've heard of it, but it had no effect on my first pregnancy and my daughter was 10 days late.
