IVF - Follicle size before trigger?

Question

Hi! What was your dominant follicle size when you were told to trigger before ER?  
My Dr told me I'd likely be triggering tomorrow but now they're telling me that I might need an extra day - my dominant follicle was about 15.6 mm this morning. Wondering if anyone else had similar size the day before trigger or if they're still too small.

They usually want at least once follicle to be 18-21mm when they tell you to trigger. (At my clinic anyway)

I wasn't allowed to trigger until I had 3 18+. I had a front runner that wound up being around 22,23 (something like that) by the time I'd triggered with atleast 3 measurable follicles. Luckily, many caught up by then but I wound up stimming for about 5-6 additional days with that front runner.

I went in on cd 11 and they were 18 and 21 (one on each side). I triggered cd 12 and had IUI cd 14 so they were probably pretty big at ovulation!

I too was advised that the goal was to get as many as possible 18 or bigger. I had 13 follicles and only got 7 at retrieval

These are the sizes 2 days before trigger and 4 days before retrieval. I stimmed for 12 days.

Most of my follicles were 18-19mm, and a handful at 20-21 and the biggest one was 26...probably was over cooked at that point

My doc said anything over 15 can have an egg ... idk if that’s helpful or not
