When is it appropriate to share your baby registry?

I really dont want to have a baby shower and we aren't doing a gender reveal so it wont be at either of those. Should i just post it on fb? I hate feeling like im asking for gifts so i dont want anyone to feel obligated but everyone i talk to says im crazy for thinking that way.

If you aren't having a shower or gender party, I would just share it if people ask. I think its tacky to post one on FB. Then it seems like you are just asking for gifts.

I agree with everyone else. If you're not having a shower or anything, to share it on facebook seems kind of rude. I would just wait for people to ask what you need, that is mostly what I did. Or just brought up to my close friends about the stuff I needed and shopping etc and they asked for it.

It really depends on your situation. We're a military family and having a shower isn't feasible for our situation because our friends and family live all over the world so I'm thinking of posting our registry on social media.
If you live close enough to people to have a shower but are just opting not to, it could be seen as a little tacky.

I’d just post it on Facebook beginning of 3rd trimester. All f my family and friends are out of state and it’s he easiest way to get it known. And guess what, you are asking for gifts. So what. They’re for the baby. Ask away.

I posted mine on Facebook multiple times.  I have many outt of state friendsand honestly with pregnancy brain I couldn't remember who had/ hadn't asked for it. Posting was easier
