Would you accept a fake ring?

If your boyfriend proposed with a ring that was real silver but fake diamond would you be upset and say no? We don’t have a lot of money but we know we want to be together for the rest of our lives and they have some really cute rings that are around $100. Which I’m assuming because the diamond is fake. Well anyways, his friends just got engaged and last time we were talking the fiancé was talking mad shit about another girls ring being fake. It made me sad because I’d totally accept that ring haha anyways, would you guys feel weird about a fake ring?
