Baby shower for second kid?

When I was pregnant with my first, we didn’t live close to friends and family so I didn’t have a shower (we’re a military family). Only a small one at work. We now live two hours from friends and family and my mom is asking about a baby shower. I don’t know if it’s tacky to have one for this baby now that we’re close enough to have one.

With my first baby, I had a baby shower but I couldn’t attend it at all! He decided to come out on that day so I didn’t even get to see the set up of it 😭 I’m pregnant with my second and I really want a baby shower because I never made it to my first. Lol

As a third kid, I say celebrate all your kiddos :) Doesn't have to be traditional and full of gifts if that's not what you need/want. Make it whatever feels right for you and your partner!
