How helpful was using ovulation test with the conceiving process?

Helpful with the bbt. The month we conceived, I actually ovulated 3 days earlier than I usually do. So that day I got a positive opk and was so shocked because I wasn't prepared. We had sex that night and the night after. Temps later confirmed I ovulated then, and 2 weeks later, I got a bfp! I do also get ovulation cramps every time I ovulate, so I probably still would have caught it anyways, but those usually don't happen until the day after my positive opk. I was very happy I used it though!

My first pregnancy it was very helpful. I’d just come off the pill after many years and my cycle was out of whack. I also really had a hard time identifying when I was ovulating. My second pregnancy I didn’t use it and was pregnant on month one / I’m pretty sure it’s bc I’ve learned to spot ovulation signs better and didn’t really need the opk for that.
