So I just realized I run into this issue a lot.

Sometimes I get hit on by people and if I don’t reply they say, “oh it’s because I’m black”.

I always reply with, “no, I’m half black”

Then they always say things like, “no you’re not” or “you’re lying”

And the only people that don’t believe me are black people..

It’s pretty hurtful

I’m biracial and don’t carry very many black features.

I actually have Congo in my blood and a lot of other African things.

Why do people do this?
