Croup

So tonight was our first trip to the emergency room. 5 days of a 101 fever and last night the wheezing and coughing started. Was so glad we brought him in he was so sick. Even with tylenol and motrin he couldn't lessen the fever and the breathing terrified me. Steroids and nebulizers and we were home by 6:30 AM. Baby woke up at 8 AM now. God help us I'm running on empty my sweet husband has been sick as well so he's needed the sleep. I could really use some encouragement. Has anyone else had croup? How long did it last?
