Experience with a surgical or medicated abortion

I got pregnant from my boyfriend now ex. He has made it extremely clear he has no intention on helping me or staying in a relationship with me if I decide to keep it. I don’t want to be a parent alone nor do I have the resources so I have decided to have an abortion

I am 5 weeks and 5 days I called Planned parent hood and they said they will give me a pill. A local clinic said it will be surgery

Does anybody have any experience with the process or how many days I would be out
