Can someone help? BFP at 11dp5dt but very strong af pains

Question

I’m hoping someone can make me feel a bit better. I had a BFP this morning with FMU at 11dp5dt (16dpo) and it was a nice fairly strong positive. But tonight I am in soooo much pain, I have af cramps like you wouldn’t believe, and it feels like af is going to arrive any second. I am so scared I’m in floods of tears 😭
I’ve just put in my cyclogest for the evening but I have a bad feeling about these pains. Does anyone have any similar stories? I need some positive stories 💕

It’s normal to feel like your period is coming! As long as there’s no bleeding your fine

I had really strong cramps when I got my BFP too! It’s so scary! I kept running to the bathroom every 5 mins to check lol. I’m now 13 weeks tomorrow and all is good :). If you don’t bleed and have cramps you’re good!

I had cramps for several weeks after my BFP! They weren’t severe, but I’d say moderate, consistent cramps. Normal!! And yes, bleeding would be bad!!

I ugly cried a couple of days before my test day because of how bad my cramping was and how certain i was that i was going to get my period. They felt exactly like period cramps!

I felt AF cramps too!  I'm 7 months pregnant now. Try not to worry about💗💗💗

I would at least tell the doctor as they can rule out ectopic just to be certain.
