Diet changes in order to conceive?

Did any of you change your diet in order to get pregnant?

Personally, I don’t have any experience with this but I had a coworker that was TTC for over a year. Her and her husband finally went to see a specialist and they recommended that they start the Keto diet and they were pregnant just a few months later. It might be worth asking about 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yes. Went through 1 failed iui and 3 failed ivf cycles before learning it was poor egg quality. Went on very low carb ("lazy keto") and got pregnant on the next ivf cycle. I'm 10 weeks today.

No dairy, no sugar and low carbs (as in no processed carbs). I HAD pcos but have been able to essentially have it so blood work and ultrasound say it’s not present anymore. We conceived our first with fertility treatments because we couldn’t get pregnant and then out of no-where, we got pregnant naturally. Diet has been the only consistent thing that helped here!

My husband and I were already gluten free. I eliminated alcohol, caffeine, soy. Minimized sugar, ate exclusively organic. Lots of protein and healthy fats. All veggies were lightly steamed to make them easier to digest. Lots of warm foods like soup, no cold foods.

On keto I got pregnant in my 8th cycle of trying NOT to get pregnant. Lost that pregnancy, and then started TTC- got pregnant again 3rd cycle. It took me over a year of TTC with my 1st child when I was on a standard diet.
